ColdFusion gateways arranges images and files in templates and thumbnails by converting them into simple batch process. It is very hefty for a user to upload images through the HTTP requests because he has to wait for a long period of time.
For the directory gateway configuration file, there are following attributes required –
directory – path to the directory to watch.
recurse – to check to the subdirectories.
addfunction – defines the name of function to be called.
ChangeFunction – defines the function of the file when it is updated.
interval – number of milliseconds between the event gateways.
deleteFunction – name of the functions, when the file is deleted.
extensions – comma delimited sets of the extensions.
